Jonathan Golub, CFA
Managing Director, Chief U.S. Equity Strategist
Mr. Golub was a Chief Equity Strategist at RBC Capital Markets, LLC, Research Division. Earlier, he served as a Chief United States Market Strategist at the RBC Capital Markets since September 2013. Mr. Golub has over 18 years of experience in financial services. He served as a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, Research Division. and served as its Chief United States Equity Strategist from 2009 to June 2013. where he was responsible for its investment United States equity outlook, S&P 500 price target, earnings forecasts and sector recommendations. Previously, Mr. Golub served as a United States Equity Strategist and Co-Head of United States Equity Client Portfolio Management at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Inc. Mr. Golub served as a Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and The Bear Stearns Companies, LLC. He served as a Research Analyst at Bear Stearns Companies Inc., Research Division. Mr. Golub served as a Chief Market Strategist at ING Investment Management Americas. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. Mr. Golub has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.

Prior to founding Hedgeye Risk Management, Keith built a successful track record as a hedge fund manager at the Carlyle-Blue Wave Partners hedge fund, Magnetar Capital, Falconhenge Partners, and Dawson-Herman Capital Management. Keith has been a regular market guest on financial TV and radio for many years including CNN and Fox Business, as well as a contributor for CNBC and Bloomberg. He now hosts The Macro Show weekday mornings on HedgeyeTV which was featured in a Huffington Post story, “Meet The Man Who Wants To Build The ESPN Of Finance.” He is the author of the popular book, Diary of a Hedge Fund Manager and regularly shares his market and economic commentary on Fortune, Investopedia and other financial websites. He began his career as an institutional equity sales analyst after earning an economics degree from Yale University. While at Yale, he captained the men’s ice hockey team to a Division I Ivy League Championship.
